Quavo is living his best life. On top of gracing Complex's February cover with Offset, Takeoff, and Quality Music Group, he had a hell of a time at the Atlanta Hawks game last night (Feb 26).
Not only did the Migos member get to shoot a T-shirt cannon for his hometown team, Los Angeles Lakers' Lonzo Ball dapped him up as the rhymer sat courtside.
Despite Quavo rooting for the opposing team, it was all love. Ball, who was fresh off dropping triple threes at the time, later told ESPN that he puts Quavo in his top five favorite rappers and said that he hoped Quavo "enjoyed the show."
"I’m just a fan of what he does and he’s a fan of what we do," explained Ball. It seems that the feeling is mutual, as Quavo asked Ball for Big Baller sneakers.
And as if it couldn't get any better, at one point, the audience reportedly chanted for the coach to "put in Quavo." (He was named MVP of the 2018 All-Star Celebrity game after all.)
This isn't the first time the Atlanta Hawks and their fans showed Quavo some love. Last Thursday, the team's mixmaster, DJ Big Tigger, told TMZ Sports that the Hawks should give Quavo a 10-day deal with the team. "I don't know if he can play any defense but he can get us a couple buckets," said the DJ.
It's one thing to be a team's number-one fan, but yesterday, it was Quavo who got all the love.
