Atlanta rappers Young Scooter and Future have a long and storied history together, collaborating numerous times. At one point, it even looked as if they were getting ready to work on a collaborative tape together. Although that tape never came to fruition, the pair have given us the next best thing with the release of Scooter's latest mixtape, Trippple Cross.

Appearing on five of the fourteen tracks on the project, Future and Scooter prove they make for an excellent team once again on this new release. Just as exciting, however, is the fact Young Thug appears three times, as well. Scooter and Thug go way back as well, having previously collaborated together as early as 2013 on Thug's 1017 Thug project. Future and Thug even turn up on the same songs together twice.

Of course, they're not the only guests to appear on Trippple Cross, as Casino and YoungBoy Never Broke Again also offer up some guest verses.

Now that the project is out, Scooter can start finishing up Street Lottery 4, a joint release with Future and Thug he teased late last year. Hopefully the recordings from those sessions aren't the songs that pop up here, meaning that we've got a potential full album's worth of the trio's chemistry to look forward to. With Young Thug's promise that he won't release new music this year to pay respect to his deaf brother, though, the project's future seems uncertain. Either way, with Scooter's work ethic, it won't be long until he's back with even more music.
