Halsey fulfilled one of her biggest dreams this weekend.

The 23-year-old singer-songwriter made her Saturday Night Live debut during the show’s first episode of 2018. Halsey—who served as this week’s musical guest, alongside host Sam Rockwell—announced her appearance on social media last month, writing: “IM PLAYING FUCKING SNL!!!!! @nbcsnl I CANT BELIEVE THIS.”

Halsey performed “Bad At Love” off her sophomore studio album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. Then she performed “Him & I” off G-Eazy’s The Beautiful & Damned. You can watch Halsey light up the SNL stage in the videos above and below.

The singer, who is gearing up for the second installment of her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour, recently made headlines for her criticism of the 2018 Firefly Festival. In a series of tweets posted this week, Halsey called out the event’s organizers for failing to include more female artists.

“Where the women at. This was one of my favorite festivals I’ve ever played and it’s a shame there’s not more females on the bill,” she wrote. “With the exception of (the amazing) Sza, the first like 20 acts on the bill are men. It’s 2018, do better!!!”

Damn guys come onnnnnn. Where the women at. This was one of my favorite festivals I’ve ever played and it’s a shame there’s not more females on the bill. With the exception of (the amazing) Sza, the first like 20 acts on the bill are men. It’s 2018, do better!!! https://t.co/8tmeac8mVu

Who am I supposed to “go off on” haha. Festivals ASK artists to play. Artists don’t ASK festivals if they can come. I’m just raising a point! So many dope women in music right now! https://t.co/WGtVO7u2xg
