The Game has kicked off sessions for a new album, his first since the largely feature-free 1992. In an Instagram caption Sunday, Game recalled his history of "amazing" work and asked for fans to hit him with suggestions for potential collaborators on the currently untitled project.

"This is the process I enjoy the most.... THE BEGINNING of a new project, new energy, new concept, new feel," Game said. "I have a history of amazing projects & my body of work speaks for itself... my beat selection is impeccable & my bars... well, my fans know my track record.... so, get ready to take yet another ride down victory lane as I start a new project today."

In an aside to his "core fans," Game asked for recommendations on which artists and producers he should invite to the studio. "I will mix that with my own thoughts and create something magical," he promised in the caption for a Dr. Epic-shot video featuring Raekwon.

Game also shared a pair of black-and-white photos from the studio, again shot by Dr. Epic:

1992 was followed by Game's repeated claims of his next album—then referred to as Westside Story—being his final release. In May of last year, Game revealed that he and Kendrick Lamar were cooking up a Westside Story collab.

It's unclear if the project teased Sunday is Westside Story, or if Game has reconsidered his "last album" claims.
