Manila Killa

You ever press play on a song and get that feeling that this song could become something? That's the vibe that hits immediately in the opening seconds of "Everyday, Everyday," the new single from DC's Manila Killa, who is one-half of Hotel Garuda and a part of the Moving Castle collective.

Sure, it feels like something that'd soundtrack a contemplative scene in a show like Riverdale or Runaways, but that's the song's charm. With electronic music's emphasis on getting to the drop within moments of stepping into a track, "Everyday, Everyday" at least captures some of the emotion that we should be placing on these people, places, and things that we call "bae."

In speaking about the construction of this song, Manila Killa told us that he's "been following Nevve for a while now and was thrilled when the opportunity to work with her came up. It's always a challenge to find vocalist that meshes effortlessly with your style and I wanted to start the year off on the right foot with this release. Nevve's vocal quality inspired me to push my creative capabilities and we're both extremely proud and excited to share this with the world."

The "effortless mesh" of Manila and Nevve is known immediately on "Everyday, Everyday," and we have a feeling that when you're up in your feels, this song could effortlessly mesh with your emotions. Stream the full track below.
