The man behind such iconic party anthems as "Snap Yo Fingers," "Get Low," and "Turn Down for What" has now joined forces with trap stars 2 Chainz and Offset to produce a killer new track. Lil Jon's "Alive" opens up with a menacing beat that fades in as the crunk legend raps: "Wake up in the morning feelin' live/ God must be really on my side" and the build-up sizzles to a boil as Lil Jon bursts out in that instantly recognizable voice.
Fki 1st, Lil Jon, and Party Favor share producer credits on this one, and it's clear that the 46-year-old is still tapped into what a song needs to get people hyped up. Lil Jon reminded us on Twitter that his first single came out back in 1996, and 22 years later, he's still here. Offset and 2 Chainz each bring their signature flow to the song, and give "Alive" that added star power to really make the track take off.
