J. Cole fans can potentially have some new material to look forward to pretty soon, as it looks like he's been keeping himself pretty busy. A little over a week ago, we peeped Wale's (now deleted) Instagram clip of the two in the studio "working on new vibes." Now, Cole appears to have another collaboration on the way with fellow lyrical rapper Royce da 5'9".

Cole had recently linked with Royce at Heaven Studio in Detroit after making a guest appearance on Kendrick Lamar's tour; Royce shared a few studio shots with the ominous caption "magical moments" which could be the reason behind the rappers' latest appearance together.

Producer S1 added fuel to the fire recently when he shared a photo and video to Instagram confirming that Cole and Royce had something cooking.

S1's short video clip, captioned "them boys up to something," showed a brief view of Cole and Royce on what could only be the set of a music video. The lyricists can be seen standing in front of a carnival setting with a soft neon glow.

With all but an official announcement of the collab from Cole, now it's down to the waiting game. We'll be waiting impatiently to see what the Dreamville rapper and Detroit veteran have up their sleeve for this new project.
