Toronto's Faiza is known for her sweet R&B vocals—see her single "Body Babe" for reference—but she's back with a new single and video and showing there's more to her that meets the eye. She's flexing her rapping skills on her new track "Bands," and you can view the video for the first time here on Complex

Faiza recently spent time down in Atlanta recording and it appears her time in the trap music mecca may have influenced her just a bit. “I just wanted to make a boastful record," she says of the song. "I’m super humble in real life but when I heard the beat I knew the record called for a more audacious vibe.” While rap is still an area of her music that she’s discovering, Faiza isn't afraid to show that her taste and musical ability is far-reaching.

The single is produced by Giangelo Power and will be one of the tracks on Faiza's upcoming EP, Audacity. You can also catch Faiza on CTV's new talent search competition show The Launch, which airs this coming Wednesday at 9pm EST.
