It's been a bit since we heard new material from Domo Genesis, primarily from his Red Corolla project from the summer of 2017. He's back to kick 2018 with a brand new mixtape, Aren't U Glad You're U?, which is produced entirely by the one and only Evidence.
The eight-track project masterfully blends Domo's weed-soaked bars with Evidence's banging production. What's dope is that while the Odd Future-affiliated Domo is definitely still part of the squad, he's mostly rapping by himself on this mixtape, although he does have two features: one being Evidence, because duh, and the second is the mighty Phonte of Little Brother and Foreign Exchange fame.
Also dropping with the mixtape (which you can snag for free over on DatPiff) is the video for the opening track "Me Vs. Me." And yes, similar to the cover art where Domo's looking at himself in the mirror, this clip features Domo rapping to himself in the mirror... and his mirror image rapping back at him. Trippy stuff.
