As you probably know by now, the Grammys went down last night. Although some of the nominations were exciting (SZA, 6LACK, Khalid, Goldlink, Daniel Caesar) and Kendrick did win four awards, the televised part was pretty disappointing. Lorde didn't perform, Jay Z didn't win any awards (None! In his hometown!), and Best New Artist yet again went to an artist who isn't really new.
One person who probably would have enjoyed the Grammys is Desiigner, because he seems to enjoy everything he does, from shopping in 7/11 to hanging out with Slick Rick and Ski Mask The Slump God. But Desiigner is smarter than you and I—instead of spending his evening getting drunk with celebrities or yelling at the TV screen, Desiigner headed to Philly for WWE's Royal Rumble.
TMZ pulled just some of the clips from his IG story for the video above, and it's clear that Desiigner was having a lot of fun. Check his whole Instagram story here to appreciate the extent of his excitement at the Royal Rumble. Now I don't know for sure whether Desiigner was invited to the Grammys this year or not, but I like to think that he chose to go to the Royal Rumble instead.
