Cardo has been racking up an incredibly impressive number of collaborations producing for some of the biggest rappers out. He's already worked with Migos, Kendrick Lamar, and Travis Scott, among others. It's pretty safe to say that he's at the top of his game right now, and with the release of Drake's new Scary Hours project, he's landed what could be his biggest song yet.

The producer received a co-production credit on "God's Plan," a song that's already broken streaming records on both Apple Music and Spotify. Speaking with Fader, Cardo explained how the collaboration came to be. "That was a shocker right there because I had sent Drake some beats, he needed beats earlier back in September 2017," he said. "I sent him a gang of beats, and probably a week later he hits me up at like five in the morning. He texted me, he was like, 'We got one.'" Scary Hours indeed.

Boi-1da, a frequent collaborator of Drake, "beefed it up" later on. "Drake hit me up like just a week and a half ago, and was like, 'Yeah we're gonna drop the record next week,'" he explained. "I'm pretty sure it's gonna be on the Hot 100 for Billboard. I just found out I'm on the Migos album yesterday. It comes out the same day as Big Bossin' Vol. 2, but hey man, it's gonna shine the light on us too."

Billboard is reporting that the song is heading for No. 1 on the Hot 100. The preliminary data for the song has it pegged at over 55 million U.S. streams, which is more than enough to send it to No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart. It's also predicted to sell over 110,000 downloads, and with radio promotion for the track just ramping up, Billboard says it's likely to receive over 20 million in radio audience the next tracking week.

"Diplomatic Immunity," the other song Drake released as part of Scary Hours, is predicted to rake in 20 million first-week U.S. streams, making it likely to crack at least the top 20 on the Hot 100.
