We never thought we’d get a re-imagining of one of rap’s most honored songs from a six-year-old. Consequence’s son Caiden is following up his 2017 cut “Yellow Diamonds” with a remake of A Tribe Called Quest’s classic single “Can I Kick It.”

“Obviously, it’s such a proud moment for me that my six-year-old son is carrying the torch for not only me and ATCQ, but the Native Tongue movement as a whole. #QueensAllDay,” Consequence said of the song.

The track—which was played on Sway in the Morning earlier today—features the same illustrious beat, with Caiden’s play on the original words: “Can I kick it? The number one chief rocker/Arriving out the blue, boomshakalaka.”

Earlier in January, A Tribe Called Quest announced they were expanding into children’s apparel called Kid Quester. During ComplexCon 2017, Caiden sported some of the pieces before they had dropped. There are two pieces currently available to purchase on ATCQ’s site, and according to Consequence, more will be dropping in February.

In the meantime, peep Caiden’s bubbly twist on “Can I Kick It.”
