Out of nowhere Tuesday, ASAP Rocky unleashed his new cut "☆☆☆☆☆ 5IVE $TAR$."

Listen to it in full below, along with a short audio clip titled "Above." The latter is produced by Frans Mernick. Testing is apparently coming soon.

The new Rocky track arrives just days after the announcement of new AWGE merch, AWGE DVD Vol. 2, and an online forum. As spotted by fans, the corresponding site shared stylistic similarities with designs Rocky had been using in his live performances, including the crash test dummy vibes of the "☆☆☆☆☆ 5IVE $TAR$" cover art.

Back in November, Rocky energized the hype surrounding his long-overdue At. Long. Last. ASAP followup by declaring himself the "greatest fuckin' artist of all time." During an ASAP Mob set in New York City, Rocky elaborated further:

Yeah, I'm on my cocky Kanye shit, whatever the fuck, suck my dick with that, n****. I'm the greatest contemporary artist of all time, Renaissance, contemporary, all that. I need y'all n****s to know. All this little razzle dazzle bum-ass shit going on, but Flacko Season 'bout to drop real soon

The experimental flourishes explored on At. Long. Last. ASAP, which birthed the perfect psychedelia of underrated single "LSD," are expected to continue into the next chapter of ASAP Rocky's genre-hopping discography.

"My new album is really about testing new sounds," Rocky, who spent portions of the recording process on a self-instigated phone break, told GQ last October. "People are scared to test new sounds, so they go with what's current 'cause it’s the easy thing to do." Instead of chasing the Hot 100 demographic, Rocky added, his new sounds will allow fans to "grow with me."
