The death of Anthony Soares aka Fif made headlines back in September thanks to his friendship with Drake and affiliation with OVO, but for Scarborough native Portion it was more than just a news story. Fif was a family friend and brotherly figure, so his death—coupled with the fact that a cousin passed away just a few days earlier—was a hard pill to swallow.
Portion is paying tribute to his fallen friend and giving us all some insight to the relationship he had with Fif with a new tribute song aptly titled "Fif's World." The video was shot in Scarborough’s Pitfield area where Portion, Fif and Baka (who can be seen in the video) are all from. The song also features a touching audio clip of Fif talking to his young daughter.
