SZA is ending her 2017 with a big career milestone. Tonight, the singer-songwriter is making her debut on SNL, performing selections from her latest album CTRL.

Another potentially big resume booster for her is winning some Grammys. She’s nominated in five categories for the 2018 Grammy Awards: best new artist, best R&B performance, best rap/sung performance, best R&B song, and best urban contemporary album. She has come along way from being “fake” vegan and sleeping on her friend’s couches, putting on electrifying performances of "The Weekend" and "Love Galore" with a choir.

What’s next for SZA? She’s been already thinking about her next album, but this time she wants to be confident in putting it out and taking that risk. She’s also confirmed that the video for “The Weekend,” which she collaborated with Solange on, should be out “any day now.” SZA’s 2018 sounds like a well-deserved glow up.
