The very busy Kodak Black is back with yet another project, which I believe is his 38,903 of the year. This time around it's called Baptized N Blood and is a collaboration between Kodak and his crew, the menacingly named Sniper Gang. The project is filled with memorably poetic lines such as "if you play with snipeys, you get hit." The truth of the line mimics the hit of, well, a sniper.

Back in March, Kodak released his debut studio album Painting Pictures. The album boasted features from Young Thug, Future, Jeezy, and Bun B while production was handled by the likes of Metro Boomin, Southside, and Mike Will Made-It, and others.

In August, Black dropped the mixtape Project Baby 2. It featured XXXTentacion, Offset, among others. Kodak also released the tape F.E.M.A. with Plies not too long back.

Kodak's success has been clouded with the rapper's legal situation. Back in October, Kodak was indicted on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. The charges stem from an alleged sexual assault that took place in February 2016 following a show at Treasure City in Florence, South Carolina. Kodak allegedly bit the victim, tore off her clothes, and raped her. He faces up to thirty years in prison if convicted.
