It’s been about a year and half now since Iggy Azalea and Nick Young broke up. But apparently, they aren’t even close to being back on speaking terms at this point.
On Sunday night, Iggy and Nick both ended up in the same restaurant in Los Angeles. Iggy showed up at around 7 p.m. for dinner at Craig’s, while Nick and a few of his Lakers teammates strolled in just after 10 p.m. And while they didn’t cross paths for very long, it was enough to have some people speculating about the possibility of a reunion. The Daily Mail even went as far as to report that Iggy and Nick were on a "dinner date."
Iggy wanted to let the world know that that was not the case, though, as she blasted the Daily Mail reporter who put out the initial report about the alleged date. In the process, she also took a swipe at Nick by bringing up the fact that he got his ex-girlfriend pregnant while they were engaged.
Nick didn’t seem nearly as upset as Iggy was. While he acknowledged that it was a little awkward to randomly see her out and about in Los Angeles, he spoke with TMZ Sports after leaving the restaurant and actually offered up some advice for what to do if you’re ever forced to share a space with an ex.
This isn’t the first time Iggy and Nick have made headlines this month. Nick threw a petty subliminal at Iggy about a week ago and stirred up things on social media when he did it.
Nick and the Warriors are in L.A. right now to take on the Lakers on Monday night. For both of their sakes, let’s hope these two don’t end up in the same place at the same time again over the next 24 hours.
