Fuck a leak. Drake and Trouble followed the mysterious surfacing of their "Bring It Back" collab earlier this month by giving fans an official release Friday.

The track features immediately recognizable production from Mike Will Made-It and was first teased during an LA Leakersinterview back in March. "Me and Trouble did a whole project in, like, three or four days," Mike Will said at the time. "I let Drake hear it, and then Drake was like, 'Yo, man, this song is crazy,' and he ended up hopping on that joint and smoking that shit." Indeed.

At the top of this week, another Drake song did that whole surfacing thing. The unfinished cut, possibly titled "Pistols," finds a more paranoid Drake lamenting the fact that he's "been sleeping with a pistol in my bed." It's unclear when the song was recorded or if it was ever intended for public consumption.

In November, Pi'erre Bourne told Billboard he was planning to spend the remaining moments of 2017 and the early bits of 2018 fitting in some work on a new Drake project. "I'm going to finish working on my project," Bourne said. "Getting Carti's album going, working on Drake's album, me and 21 Savage got stuff blowing up. I want to branch off and do other things. I want to do other things than music, but I'm just excited for these opportunities. I know it's going to be a big year."

Drake later confirmed that he and Bourne have at least one track in the making. "Me and Pi'erre already got one," Drake told a fan on Instagram Live. Recent weeks have also given us Odell Beckham Jr. teasing new Drake lyrics and whispers of a possible Tekno collab.
