Here's How Blac Youngsta Celebrated Getting Signed

It looks like some of the suits at Epic records got an impromptu performance of "Twerk."

To say 2017 has been an eventful year for CMG’s Blac Youngsta would be a bit of an understatement. His single “Booty” broke onto Billboard magazine’s “R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay” chart last week, debuting at the No. 42 spot. The Memphis, Tennessee product was also handpicked by T-Pain as a featured guest on the “Goal Line” single from Pain’s Oblivion album. Finalizing a deal with Epic Records is theoretically a good way to cap off 2017.

It would appear Youngsta recently gave some reps at Epic a taste of things to come while basking in the glow of his freshly inked deal. Late Friday, the rapper posted a video post to his Instagram feed featuring him dancing on a conference table at Epic’s headquarters while his single “Twerk” played in the background.

“Epic shit take time,” Youngsta wrote in the video’s caption. “Album on the way #Heavycamp.”

Of course, if you follow Blac Youngsta on Instagram, his previous post in August featuring him playing with a stack of money the size of a toddler, hinted at the fact that he's pleased with the current state of his career.

Yo Gotti dropped a top 10 single with the Nicki Minaj-assisted “Rake It Up,” and Snootie Wild’s 2014 “Made Me” gave Gotti’s CMG imprint another “Hot 100” chart entry.

Should “Booty” continue gaining traction on terrestrial radio, Blac Youngsta may give the crew plenty to dance about heading into 2018.
