History has shown that Big K.R.I.T. never backs down from a freestyle challenge. So when Sway put him on the spot in the middle of their conversation on Sway In The Morning, K.R.I.T. inevitably rose to the occasion with a provocative and furious freestyle that made the radio host jump for joy.

While discussing the creative process and inspiration surrounding his latest album (or double, for that matter) 4Eva Is A Mighty Long Time,Sway casually slipped in a request for the emcee to give him a freestyle in exchange for promoting the video for his new single "Big Bank" featuring T.I. Rendering a smile, K.R.I.T. zoned in and hopped right to it as soon as the beat for Nas' "The Message" came on, not wasting a single breath.

Between nodding his head to the beat and gasping for breath between bars, K.R.I.T. spit line after line of mentally stimulating verse. "I guess the hunger for fame will make you backflip/So while they snickering and bickering I know my worth/ Like that last peppermint in my granny’s purse/Or like a warm shoulder when I used to sleep in the back of church," he raps, almost in a chant.

Sway watches from his seat, face slowly transforming from a polite smile to a boyish, wide-eyed grin. Eventually, he’s just as lively as K.R.I.T., bopping his head and hands in unison until the rapper finishes, lauding him with cheers afterwards. Sway then hops on the mic and lets everyone know how great the freestyle was, reciting the lines he just heard back as if he’d already heard them before.

Check out the lively freestyle and Sway’s jubilant reactions up top at around the 32:30 mark.
