Consisting of cousins and primary school friends from the rural area of Wairarapa in New Zealand, LA Women have only released a couple of songs so far but have still managed to rack up over three million Spotify streams. The trio meld funk, soul, pop and jazz to curate a sound which is showcased with brand new single "Count It Up" featuring Sachi. The lustrous bass line and beat remains intact throughout, as its sophisticated soundscape engulfs the listener from the outset, with a slow-burning groove to draw the listener in. The track serves as the first single off of their EP, which is due to be released early next year.
