Check the goth-esque black-and-white "Curve" video, featuring the Weeknd and multiple Gucci Manes, up top.
After a slight delay, Gucci gave us Mr. Davis—his eleventh studio effort—Oct. 13. Released mere months after his Metro Boomin-produced Droptopwop tape, the 17-track album is stacked with instaclassic Guwop entires including "I Get the Bag" and "Jumped Out the Whip." A month ahead of the album's release, Gucci debuted the Nav and Frost-produced "Curve."
Earlier this week, Gucci revealed he had just upped Guwop enterprises by a reported $10 million thanks to an extension with Atlantic Records. Gucci has released three albums with Atlantic thus far, including The Return of East Atlanta Santa and Everybody Looking. Not long ago, however, Gucci claimed he was going to spend 2018 "going 100 percent independent" and dropping an onslaught of mixtapes.
Last weekend, Gucci brought selections from his increasingly stacked discography to Long Beach, California for a performance at the second annual ComplexCon. Gucci was joined by M.I.A., DJ Khaled, Young Thug, A-Trak, ASAP Ferg, Jaden Smith, Wifisfuneral, and the return of N*E*R*D.
Gucci also just dropped his autobiography. I highly recommend it.
