Drake Knew How Thirsty You Were for a Refreshing New Drake Meme

If this is just shrewd Perrier marketing, then all hats off to them.

No one knows how to fall face-first into a meme quite like Drake. At the Raptors and Hornets game Wednesday night, the 6 God—rocking a jacket conveniently emblazoned with the OVO logo—was caught on camera pouring canned Perrier sparkling water into a cup. Instead of simply pouring and promptly enjoying the crisp refreshment, Drake decided to flip the moment into a monumental event.

I'll spare you written words about said meme. Just enjoy it in its purest form:

Drake also tried his hand at sideline reporting, which I'm assuming went great but I know nothing about sidelines or reporting.

Drake's latest act of memery couldn't come at a more perfect time, as the past few weeks have given us teases about everything from a full-blown cinematic takeover to an unexpected new album. Producer and artist Pi’erre Bourne confirmed that a new record is currently in the works in a recent interview with Billboard. Discussing his 2018 plans, Bourne said he's in the middle of Drake sessions and is actively trying his best to secure a Drake feature for his next solo project.

As for the title of that new Drake album, Scriptures is most certainly not it.

Anyway, if this is all just shrewd marketing for delicious Perrier, then all hats off to them. We've definitely been down that road before.
