Cardi B Is Down to Perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Wedding for Free

That's a bargain for this couple no one's ever heard of.

Ultimately, "Bodak Yellow" is a love song. That's why today's news of Cardi B being extremely down for performing at the apparently forthcoming wedding of two people I admittedly don't recognize at all is in no way surprising.

Speaking with Capital Xtra, Cardi revealed she would gladly play Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding. Royalty, in general, is of great interest to Cardi. "I'm a fan of just, like, their whole story," she said. "I'm a fan of the fact that it's just, like, two people still stuck to that tradition of royal kingdoms and everything. That doesn't happen in America and it's just, like, when I see the palace it's like 'Oh my god! The freaking palace!'" This Harry and Meghan couple supposedly became a thing way back in the pre-"Bodak Yellow" month of July 2016, which means dick-all to me but seems worth pointing out here.

As for the proposed wedding performance, Cardi doesn't even expect any compensation. "Why would you charge them?" she said. Cardi also compared the possible experiences of meeting a POTUS and meeting a prince, giving the advantage to princes. At the time of this inspired writing, Harry and Meghan had rudely not responded to Cardi's free performance offer.

A free performance from Cardi is a hell of a bargain, especially considering the fact she was just this week nominated for multiple Grammys. Cardi's breakout hit "Bodak Yellow" is competing against Jay Z, Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar, Migos, and more in the Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance categories.
