It’s been a few months now since ASAP Ferg dropped his latest mixtape, Still Striving, but he continues to bless all of his fans with music videos from the project. Back in early October, he dropped the visuals for "Plain Jane," the lead single from Still Striving. Then, he followed it up with the video for the Meek Mill-assisted "Trap and a Dream," which he dedicated to Meek after he was handed a prison sentence on a probation violation. And on Wednesday, he followed through on a promise to release the video for "The Mattress," featuring ASAP Rocky. It came just one day after he teased the video on Twitter.
In the video, you can find Ferg and Rocky fucking up the inside of a Mattress Firm by doing just about everything imaginable on a bunch of mattresses, which obviously fits the theme of the entire song. From jumping on mattresses to laying on mattresses to tossing loads of cash around on mattresses, the duo does it all. Like Ferg’s other recent videos, the clip was directed by AWGE.
Outside of putting together a bunch of videos in support of Still Striving, Ferg has also been keeping busy in other areas of his life. He expanded his brand by linking up with New Era for a collaboration. He teamed up with DJ Premier to help relaunch the iconic label Payday Records with the song, "Our Streets." He also made an appearance at ComplexCon 2017 and performed on the Pigeons & Planes stage.
