If we are to believe the latest rumors, we might have to wait even longer for Tha Carter V to drop. Lil Wayne has reportedly learned of some tricky family news that could keep him busy for the foreseeable future: the rapper has a 15-year-old son he didn’t know about as well as a couple years of unpaid child support to boot.

Keiotia Watson, the mother, claims she had a sexual relationship with the rapper in June 2001 that resulted in her pregnancy. In February 2002, her son Dwayne was born, named after the rapper’s real name.

Watson went to court in 2015 in an attempt to claim child support, and a Louisiana judge ruled that the rapper should pay $5,000 a month. He has allegedly failed to fork up any of these payments.

According to TMZ, sources close to Wayne explain he has not paid because he was never served with legal papers or been properly notified that he is the child’s father. One source in particular is certain that Wayne would take full responsibility for the child and pay what he needs to if it was proved that he is the father, and to this end the rapper plans to take a paternity test.

Lil Wayne has four other children (three sons and one daughter) with four different women.
