Cardi B’s already amazing year was just recently topped off with a surprise engagement to Offset. And even though the two have probably not even begun to think about the details of their wedding, they could already be in the play for a wedding special on either BET or VH1.
Representatives of both networks used Instagram to pitch a wedding special. The Shade Room posted about a Twitter user who made a very clever joke about the engagement announcement, and that’s when BET jumped on the chance to tag both rappers and say: “#WeGotYou when you ready!”
It’s not too suggestive of a comment, but Mona Scott Young of VH1 saw it and wanted to get her own network in the running. “Love ya @BET but #WeGotThis,” adding the great hashtag.

Whether we end up getting a wedding special or not, the truth is that fans went crazy for the news of Cardi and Offset’s engagement. So happy, in fact, that Zach Fox (better known as Bootymath) started penning verses for Offset should he want to rap for Cardi at their wedding. The raps were pretty imaginative, and most were pretty damn good. The best part is how everyone else were able to nail down the classic Migos rap style, even assigning lines to Offset or Quavo specifically.
