It appears Partynextdoor isn’t stressing over his recent arrest

Just days after he was charged with drug possession at the U.S,-Canadian border, the 25-year-old rapper went to Instagram to address the incident for the first time. He also made sure to plug his newly released Seven Days EP as well as his North American tour with Halsey:

“The only chains on these wrists have diamonds on them,” he captioned a now-deleted photo. “Boston was fun tonight, on my way to Philly. #SEVENDAYS out now. #PositivityTourWontStop.”

According to U.S. Customs and Border personnel, PND was taken into custody Thursday morning after state troopers discovered Xanax and oxycodone on his bus while conducing a secondary inspection. PND and his friend Jerome Nevins were charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and are expected to appear in court at a later date.

As he suggested in the post, PND is letting his legal troubles interfere with his touring schedule. The Ontario artist is currently on the road for the first leg of Halsey’s Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour. Installment One will continue tonight in Philadelphia, with the final show taking place Nov. 22 in Cleveland.
