Cardi B was kicked out of a hotel in Albany, New York early Sunday morning, and she thinks racism is to blame.

So me & my team got kicked out of this hotel in Albany cause my floor smell like weed mine You I hate weed & nikkas do not smoke it

According to TMZ, Cardi had finished performing at the Times Union Center on Saturday night and headed to the Hilton Albany when the hotel began to receive several noise complaints coming from the second floor, where Cards and her team were staying, around 1 a.m. The manager subsequently called the police to narc on a party and weed smell. Security then asked Cardi and her team to leave.

Cardi, who was woken up with the message that everyone had to leave, reportedly stormed out of the hotel, but not before calling someone on the staff a “white piece of shit” and a “racist motherfucker.” Sounds like Cardi, to be honest, but just in case you didn’t believe that detail, someone caught the whole thing on tape.

A representative from the Albany Police Department has stated that there was no evidence of weed from any of the rooms occupied by anyone on Cardi’s team. No arrests were made. Albany PD also reportedly denies any allegations of racism.

Cardi was understandably upset at the whole ordeal. She took to her Instagram to give a more full account of the night’s events. She said that anyone who “knows her” would know that she doesn’t smoke weed as it makes her “paranoid,” and no one else on her team smokes either. She also said the entire situation confirms what she had already heard: “Albany is known for being racist.”
