The last time we heard from Vic Mensa, he was speaking with Larry King about Obama's agenda while he was in the White House. Today? Hot 97 unleashed a ferocious freestyle from Vic for Funkmaster Flex, and he wastes no time scorching the instrumental for N.O.R.E.'s classic "Banned From TV."
"SaveMoney, Roc Boys, I rep the set faithfully," Vic begins, "I'm a franchise player, there is no replacing me." From there, he does exactly what he says Hov told him to do ("Vic, keep a foot on their neck") with a blinding batch of bars for this Swizz-produced banger. He mentions getting hit with a gun charge but posting bail ("like Chance, that's 'No Problems'"), his past, and how he needs no stylist (that jacket is kinda dope).
He also rapped about not giving a fuck about what he sold first week, how he'll kill MCs, and how hard it is in the South Side of Chicago. He even finds a way to reference the very website you're reading (around the 1:55 mark):

For those wondering, the description in YouTube says that Vic "spits some bars about DJ Akademiks," but he isn't mentioned directly, although this wouldn't be the first time Mensa addressed the Everyday Struggle co-host since their on-air altercation. During Vic's dismantling of Kendrick Lamar's "HiiiPower" on Sway's Universe, Mensa dedicated a few lines to Ak.

Sadly, Vic didn't get to spit "on some Mobb Deep shit" like he requested during the session, but he did drop bombs all over that studio and referenced Flex's Pac rant in front of Flex. Check out the full freestyle up above.
