Crediting her South African mother for educating her in African music, soul, and funk, Odette's father—a talented pianist—also helped shape her taste towards jazz, all clear contributors to her current grasp of melody and rhythmic flow. Today, Aussie producer Anatole delivers a brand new remix, adding glitchy, multi-layered instrumentation to the fold, resulting in pure repeat material.
Spending the best part of the last two years creating her debut album—on the strength of "Watch Me Read You" alone, we're keeping our ears pulled for the full-length project which is said to be "coming soon."
