"The original didn't pay any respect to the original rockstar, so I took matters into my own hands."

Post Malone has been dipping his toe in the world of rock music since breaking through with "White Iverson" back in early 2015. He's shown off impressive guitar and vocal chops with covers of Nirvana and Bob Dylan, and his debut album Stoney ended with a surprising soft rock acoustic ballad.

Then, last week, he took a step further by releasing a collaborative single with 21 Savage called "Rockstar." The song was immediately one of our favorites of the week, but apparently a user on the Kanyetothe forums wasn't satisfied.

"The original didn't pay any respect to the original rockstar, so I took matters into my own hands," KTT user Donly wrote as he shared a new version with added vocals from Nickelback's 2005 single of the same name.

Honestly, it starts off a little rough, but when Chad Kroeger cuts off 21 Savage and yells "15 CARS!" at the 1:50 mark, I'd be lying if I said a chill didn't run down my spine. This actually kinda slaps. Listen above and catch up on both original versions below.
