Here's How Jay Z, Michelle Obama, Blue Ivy, and More Celebrated Beyoncé's Birthday

Labor Day? Who cares. Today is Bey Day.

Today is Labor Day, whatever the hell that means, but more importantly it's Beyoncé's birthday. Beyoncé turns 36 Monday, an occasion that's being appropriately celebrated with a collection of "Formation"-inspired photos.

The official Beyoncé website has been updated with a photo campaign featuring Angela Beyince, Blue Ivy Carter, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Serena Williams, Michelle Obama, and more paying tribute to Melina Matsoukas' instantly iconic 2016 "Formation" video.

Beyoncé's parents also sent out special birthday messages via Instagram. "36 years ago God chose me out of all the women in the world to be your mother!" Tina Knowles Lawson said. "How blessed could I be?"

In a video message, Mathew Knowles showed a balcony view of Houston and told his daughter the city loved her. "But more importantly, I love you," he said. "I love you with all my heart. I'm so proud of you."

During Jay Z's headlining set at Made in America Sunday, the crowd wished Beyoncé a happy birthday with a united sing-along:
