The duo, made up of producer Nineteen85 and singer Daniel Daley, didn't give their first official interview until July 2016. "I don't talk much, so certain questions just go unanswered," Nineteen85 told Now Toronto at the time. The Dvsn (pronounced "division") ethos lies in the acceptance of not always being understood, i.e. the 'division' between them and everyone else. "It's about us not conforming and being okay with being different," Daley added.

Following supporting slots on Drake and Future's Summer Sixteen Tour and Drake's Boy Meets World run, Dvsn have been gearing up for Morning After season with recent shows with Usher and fellow OVO Sound artists Majid Jordan. Though Morning After still doesn't have an official release date, all signs point to the new album dropping very soon.
