Thursday morning, DJ Envy announced that Revolt TV would be premiering a special behind-the-scenes documentary chronicling the making of the "Text Ur Number" video Friday. Envy promised "dope footage" for fans and shared a teaser for the special:
The new album title is a nod to Envy's constant amazement at how his life turned out, he revealed in a recent chat with XXL. "I came up with that title because when I grew up in Queens, I never expected any of this. I majored in marketing and business management and I always thought I'd graduate school, get myself a Wall Street job, something like that," he said. "And I told myself I’d give myself a year to do music and then everything just took off so, it's just like, damn, I'm just a kid from queens who actually made it."

Just a Kid From Queens, Envy's first release since Full Breach Vol. 5 in 2014, drops in early 2018 via Commission Music.
