Premiere: Watch Jez Dior's Music Video for "Sober"

We also spoke to Jez about the new visual.

Rising artist Jez Dior has come through with the official music video for “Sober,” less than a month after he premiered the catchy single on our pages. We're proud to give you a first look at the clip.

The new visual, directed by Shane Drake, features the Los Angeles rapper riding in a truck that appears to be driving itself through a desolate area. When the vehicle finally stops at a small tipi, Jez jumps from the bed of the truck and ventures inside the tent. He and the audience are then taken into a rundown apartment, where Jez becomes destructive, all the while rapping about the temptations and regrets alcohol brings. At the end of the video, we see Jez exit the tent and light it on fire before getting into the truck’s driver’s seat.

About the video, Jez told Complex, "We really tried to portray the meaning of the song through our visuals. Shane, whom I've known for many years did an amazing job showcasing the way I felt when my life was spiraling out of control when I first moved to Hollywood. The shoot was one of the tougher ones, as it was around 117 degrees the whole time, but I love how it turned out, so it was all worth it."
