Tyler, the Creator Visits Studio Behind 'Robot Chicken' in Excerpt From New Show 'Nuts + Bolts'

Tyler's new show 'Nuts + Bolts' will premiere on Thursday August 3 on Viceland.

In a new clip shared by Viceland, Tyler, the Creator makes a visit to Stoopid Buddy Stoodios to kick it with the team behind Adult Swim's Robot Chicken. During his visit, Tyler learns about stop-motion and voice acting. The clip is an excerpt from Tyler's upcoming Viceland-produced show Nuts + Bolts, which will begin airing on Thursdays, August 3. Check it out above. 

The television program will feature Tyler and friends learning “how everything that I think is awesome is made.”

The rapper is also bringing his animated series The Jellies to Adult Swim. The show should be out later this summer. Blake Anderson, AJ Johnson, Kevin Michael Richardson, Phil Lamar, Boyce, and Tyler will do voice acting. 

Tyler, the Creator’s newly released album Flower Boy debuted at the number two spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart with 106,000 equivalent album units. The fourteen track album, which is Tyler's fourth studio outing, boasts features from Frank Ocean, Jaden Smith, ASAP Rocky, Lil Wayne, Anna of the North, Steve Lacy, Kali Uchis, Estelle, and Rex Orange County. 

The Season premiere of Nuts + Bolts will air on Thursday August 3 on Viceland.
