Will Travis Scott deliver another album before the end of the year? Sounds like it could happen.

During an appearance at Hollywood’s OHM nightclub this week, Travis told the crowd he might lay low for a while as he prepares to release two highly anticipated projects: his third studio album, Astroworld, and his collaboration with Quavo.

“I think this might be the last club I’mma do until my album drops,” he said. “I’m about to go away in hiding for a couple of weeks, couple of months,” he said. “Me and Quavo album about to drop real soon. Astroworld about to drop real soon.”

If he’s able to finish the albums in a “couple of months,” as his statement suggests, there’s a good chance we’ll get new La Flame material before 2018; however, some fans are refusing to get their hopes up.

ALBUM MODE

Travis has been teasing Astroworld and his collaborative album with Quavo for a minute. In fact, he began talking about his upcoming solo project before Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight dropped nearly a year ago and has since hinted at approaching release dates.

During a concert back in May, Travis performed a freestyle in which he said an album was dropping soon. But he refused to specify which one fans could expect: “Which one? I don’t know. Which one? I don’t know. Album coming soon. I’ve been up late working on some tunes. Album coming soon.”

Nearly three months after that concert, fans are still waiting for a release date.

It's also important to note that Travis just ended his stint on Kendrick Lamar's Damn Tour, which could result in more time spent in the studio. Shortly after he hopped off the tour, Travis went to Twitter to announce he's officially back in "album mode."

Stay tuned for more details.
