Liquid Ritual and wavemob mainstay MYSTXRIVL is back with a new collab, "Pixel", this time with Polish producer and fellow wave head SOKOS. Liquid Ritual, the wave label run by London producer Kareful, Portsmouth DJ and producer LTHL and their friend Oskar Barczak, has been right at the forefront of the mercurial club sound more or less since its inception. "Pixel", which drops tomorrow (Aug. 30 — buy here) via Liquid Ritual, combines the chrome-covered futurism we've come to love about wave, accelerated with some trappy percussion and an uplifting and trancey synth line with some dizzying, chopped-up vocals to boot. Quite possibly one of wave's biggest bangers to date.
