Premiere: Rising UK R&B Singer Bobii Lewis Gives Thanks For A Blessed Life In "Watch Me" Video

Keep an eye on this rising talent.

When we picked out Bobii Lewis as an R&B talent to watch, we knew from his Blind In The Summer EP that he wouldn't disappoint. Vindicating that decision, Lewis has today dropped the video for his latest single "Watch Me", directed by Ray Fiasco.

Munching on a biscuit in a sun-kissed, psychedelia-tinged stairwell, Bobii Lewis channels his heroes Stevie Wonder and Bob Marley into an infectious and uplifting song that takes stock of everything he has to be thankful for. "I'm very much about positive affirmation," Bobii tells Complex over email. "I wanted to be like no matter what situation I'm in, this is the life; I'm enjoying life."

The beat — courtesy of Sokari and Michelin Shin — features a trappy sort of beat as its backbone, illuminated with a simple but moreish melody. Make sure you get yourself acquainted with this rising talent by checking out his recent Blind In The Summer EP. Bobii's debut album is due out later this year.
