Chicago's own YehMe2 has been keep busying since parting ways with Flosstradamus earlier this year. Along with keeping his performance reps up, he's been hard at work on Steal This Mixtape 2, a 29-track bootleg project that showcases his ear for flipping your favorite tracks from Kendrick Lamar, Gucci Mane, and Chance the Rapper into massive trap heavy jams.
"STMT2 picks up where the last mixtape left off only this time the production quality has stepped way up," YehMe2 said of this latest effort. "I definitely put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this project. I hope you have at least half as much fun listening to it as i had making it!"
The first installment dropped last Fourth of July, so he's keeping the tradition going in 2017, and there's a lot to enjoy here. Personal favorite off initial listen: "Street Bomb," his take on Chicago's "Street Player."
