There's something profound and poetic about East London singer-songwriter Hak Baker, a modern day troubadour of sorts — Baker's brand of folk-pop wraps in themes surrounding love, and other vices and married them with a sharp and raw, emotive vocal.

First pricking our ears to attention with stunning single "7am", an ode to the late nights that bleed on into the morning, today Baker drops visuals for prior single, "Conundrum". Providing a glimpse into the local surroundings he was born and raised in, the visual follows Hak taking an accompanied ride through the ends, with a clever twist inserted. Described by Baker as "the best walk down memory lane you could ever imagine", across three minutes, the visual imagery in combination with sharp lyricism, draws out brief snapshots of belonging, identity, delinquency and community spirit.

Catch Hak at his headline show at Birthdays this coming Saturday, July 15 — tickets are available here.
