Newcomer Arlo kicked off the summer with top-notch introductory singles "Ivory" and "Shake The Room", and today goes for the three-peat with another soulful slice of indie-pop in new song "Refuge". Writing the single at a "moment filled with worthlessness and misery", Arlo detailed his hope for "Refuge" to be an anthem of survival for those in similar straits. Much like his previous drops, there's vibrant, clashing percussion throughout—with its tribal drum work and infectious chorus akin to "Ivory".
