Metallica pop up in Toronto

Metallica is opening a pop-up shop this weekend in Toronto. The shop will be open from Friday, July 14 until Sunday, July 16, and can be found at the Artscape Sandboxspace at 301 Adelaide St. West in the heart of the city.

Doors will open at 3:00pm giving Heavy metal fans and concert t-shirt loving fashionistas access to official concert merchandise like hats and t-shirt. Exclusive band gear like special edition lithographs, coolers, mugs, and a live recording from Webster Hall on vinyl will also be available.

Fans will also be able to enter a contest, with prizes including snake-pit passes and autographed gear from the band.

The pop-up is a unique edition to Metallica’s Worldwired tour, which is their first worldwide tour in six years. They’re set to play a sold out show at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Sunday, July 16. Other Canadian shows include Festival D’Ete in Quebec City on July 14, Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal on July 19, BC Place in Vancouver on August 14, and the Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton on August 16.

No pop-up stores have been confirmed for other Canadian shows.
