The title track from Major Lazer's Know No Better EP, which hit everyone by surprise last month, now has the perfect visuals to bring its somber danceability to the next level. The official video for Major Lazer's collaboration with Travis Scott, Camila Cabello, and Quavo dropped Tuesday. Directed by Philip Andelman (Rihanna, Passion Pit), the "Know No Better" video centers on a daydreaming kid who imagines a better life as a Major Lazer backup dancer.

"For me, Major Lazer is the ne plus ultra of dance music videos," Andelman said in a press release Tuesday. "It's always been a dream of mine to work with them and be included in their insane canon. Which is where the idea for the video started, with a daydream. I used to space out all through high school about being the sickest guitarist in the world to impress girls but all I could play in real life was a quarter-speed version of Slash's solo from [the Guns N' Roses song] 'Sweet Child O'Mine.'"

To bring that memory into a more modern context, Andelman opted for the backup dancer plot. "I thought it could be fun to do a video that married a kid's daydream of being a Major Lazer backup dancer (i.e. the ultimate goal for any dancer out there) with the reality of quotidian ass-kickings and unbearable siblings," Andelman said.

The six-track Know No Better EP arrived at the top of June, following nearly two years to the day after their 2015 full-length Peace Is the Mission. The EP also sees collaborations with J Balvin, Sean Paul, Nasty C, DJ Maphorisa, Ice Prince, Busy Signal, and many more.

In addition to its availability on the usual streaming outlets, you can also listen to Know No Better in its entirety on Major Lazer's official YouTube channel right now.
