After making  headlines of the non-musical variety, Kodak Black is in the news again for what originally brought him to prominence—his music. The Pompano Beach, Florida product released a new collaboration with Future, which finds the pair trading verses over production from Wheezy and Kodak himself.

The video's title reads, “PB2 OTW,” an acknowledgement that a sequel to Kodak's 2013 Project Baby is imminent. He has already released the cover art.

In his verses, Kodak looks back on his pre-fame struggles, while basking in the type of newfound financial perks that regularly adorn his Instagram feed.

“All I know is identity theft, I buried all the credit cards/G1 had me in the kitchen selling hard an’ doing fraud/Took me out the ’jects now I’m flying private jets, nigga/ Remember snatching chains; I got my own around my neck, nigga,” Kodak rhymes.

The first hint of what is being billed as the initial offering from Project Baby 2 came via Twitter. Kodak posted a short video announcing he intended to drop some new material.

“I’m about to drop some shit in about an hour or two,” the rapper said during the video posted early Saturday morning. “‘Project Baby 2’ on the way…just a little teaser real quick.”
