Dr. Dre doesn't pump out a lot of new music these days. After all, he's long since passed the point where he needs to prove anything. And so, when he does, it feels like it's kind of noteworthy.
On that point, he's shared "Gunfiyah," which is his first track since 2015's Compton. While "Gunfiyah" actually made its debut on Dre's Beats 1 radio show, The Pharmacy, it's popping up this week because it was featured during the first part of the four-part Dre/Jimmy Iovine documentary The Defiant Ones.
On a related noted, Dr. Dre recently linked up with J. Cole in the studio.
