Complex AU presents some of the best local tracks from the first half of June 2017.

Every few weeks we've been putting together the tracks you may have missed from all of our most unique and ground-breaking local artists. This month, we check out all-new songs from TAPZ, Villette, Deer and 360.

Check out our vid for the second half of June above, and find the full versions of each song down below.

TAPZ "Shadow"

Zimbabwe-born and Wellington-based rapper Tapz just dropped a brand new track called “Shadow” as part of an Apple Music project for New Zealand Music Month. Describing the song himself as “The Conjuring 2 meets 808s & Heartbreak and Tapz”, it's a brooding trap jam that's sure to ring off in the club and on radio.

Villette "If You Go"

21-year-old NZ artist Villette not only wrote, produced and performed her latest track, but she's proved her hustle in the past making beats for Tapz and boasting a successful career as a DJ. “If You Go” is a smooth, sexy and fierce slow jam, and Villette's vocals float beautifully over the dreamy, understated production.

Deer "Patience"

360 "God Mode"

360 is finally back with “God Mode”, a track full of straight spittin' with no hook, backed by Nic Martin’s knocking production. It’s been a minute since 360’s last project Utopia dropped in 2014, and while he’s said this track won’t be on his next album, it's a firm reminder that there aren't too many in the scene that are messing with Six on the punchlines.
