Another Frank Ocean sighting! After hiding away for years prior to releasing Blonde, Frank has been a lot more active lately, hosting his radio show on Beats 1 and occasionally stepping out in public.
Today, he makes an appearance in Nike's new film by Tom Sachs called The Hero’s Journey. In typical Frank fashion, his appearance is brief. Throughout the 38-minute film, his screen time is limited to a ten second non-speaking role in which he's referred to as: "Frank Ocean: Studio Master, Inspiration."
What, you expected a lead role? From Frank? Maybe in a few more years.
The film is screening today at Sachs' "Space Camp" event in New York City, but you can also watch the whole thing here. Frank makes his cameo at around the 35-minute mark. See a clip below, as well.
At this point, it's getting pretty difficult to find anyone who's not a Frank Ocean fan. We recently hit the streets of New York and asked for people's opinions on the reclusive artist. Watch that below.
