Sydney MC and producer Kid Pharaoh is set to drop his third major release Ancient [R]evolution on May 5, and ahead of it comes this sneak peek single. "The Times" sees the Egyptian-Australian rapper team up with critically acclaimed Chicago artist Mick Jenkins for the first time, and Brisbane’s I AM D for the second.

This self-produced track is a sample-driven, rolling trap jam that touches on the healing properties of time. "The Times" also features additional vocals from the legendary Hau, and is mixed & mastered by the ubiquitous Dopamine, making this one a star-studded affair.

The full-length album this comes from is set to serve as a reflection of the events of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution, and is indicative of the growth and evolution the Sydney rapper has undergone since his last project. You can check out Ancient [R]evolution when it drops, but have a listen to "The Times" as a preview above.
